Register Now for the 2012 Mock Trial Regional Competition!

The Bar Foundation encourages your school's participation in the 2012 Nebraska High School Mock Trial Project. Online registration for this popular law-related education activity is now open. Teachers who wish to sponsor one or more teams may find the registration information and forms on the Foundation's website at http://www.nebarfnd.org/mock-trial. The cost is only $35 per team. The fee is used to defray travel expenses for the Nebraska championship team to attend the National High School Mock Trial Championship, May 9-11, 2013, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Nebraska regional competitions will take place this fall between October 1 and November 21.

For Mock Trial neophytes, there is an informational video as well as other helpful resources on the web page linked above. Cases from previous years' competitions are available to give you an idea of the types of witness statements, exhibits, and Mock Trial Rules that are included in the materials. Bar Foundation staff members are also pleased to visit with you about the program and assist with recruiting an attorney coach if you are unable to connect with an attorney in your area.
