District Court Judge James Doyle was honored Saturday night in Lincoln at the Nebraska State Bar Foundation’s annual Fellows Dinner.

Patty Pansing Brooks, former Senator and partner at Brooks Pansing Brooks, was recently honored in Lincoln at the Nebraska State Bar Foundation’s annual Fellows Dinner.

Patrick Cooper, shareholder at Fraser Stryker, was recently honored 2023 in Lincoln at the Nebraska State Bar Foundation’s annual Fellows Dinner.

The Bar Foundation celebrated its 60th anniversary at the Annual Fellows Dinner on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Museum of American Speed.

Selection to become a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation is a prestigious honor bestowed annually on 30 lawyers. Selection is based on the following criteria: Integrity and character; distinction in the profession or community; contribution to the profession or the community; and contribution to the Nebraska State Bar Foundation.

Five schools competed in Nebraska's "We the People" contest on Monday, December 19th and Lincoln East High School won the competition.

On December 5 and 6, twelve teams from around the state of Nebraska competed at the Federal Courthouse in Omaha, NE to win Nebraska High School Mock Trial.

Every year, the Board of Directors presents various Foundation Awards to publicly recognize lawyers who make significant contributions to the Foundation and who enhance the legal profession as a whole. Two Foundation Fellows have received awards this year: Charles Gotch and Michael Mullin.

The Bench Media Committee has been working hard to ensure a professional and positive working relationship among Nebraska lawyers, courts, and the media.
